Restart Smart – Michigan

The “Restart Smart – Michigan” initiative – funded by the Michigan Health Endowment Fund and implemented by CATCH Global Foundation – provides educators guidance and resources for Whole Child leadership, health promotion, and resuming PE/health education safely this fall amidst Covid-19 (whether on-site, virtually, or hybrid).
Eligible K-8 Michigan schools may apply to receive free “Restart Smart” trainings and Whole Child wellness programming. Read the announcement for further details here.
Details & Eligibility
Eligible Schools Receive:
- Free registrations for staff to attend any school-based “Restart Smart” trainings
- 1-year access to CATCH.org video health & nutrition lessons designed for distance education
Video access will be granted after one or more educators attend their first training.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Public school serving two or more grades between K-8
- Located in Michigan
- Free-and-reduced lunch rate (FRL) of at least 50%
Limit: 200 schools
