CATCH Early Childhood is designed to nurture a love of physical activity, provide an introduction to classroom-based gardening and nutrition, and encourage healthy eating in children ages 3-5. Little ones are motivated to walk, run, jump, dance and move their whole bodies while playing and having fun.
The CATCH Early Childhood Open Academy is designed to allow organizations and programs with smaller staff sizes or modest budgets to be trained on the CATCH program. It is targeted for those working with students ages 3-5 in a preschool, daycare or early learning center atmosphere. Early Childhood training participants will utilize CATCH physical activity and nutrition curriculum. They are also introduced to garden segments, adaptations for students with special needs, and other management tools for working with this age group.
Participants can opt to attend one day ($250) or all three days ($600). Those who attend the one day training will learn how to implement CATCH in the in their early childhood program and those who attend all three days will leave with the skills to train others in your organization on implementing CATCH Early Childhood.
For over 25 years, The CATCH programs have guided children on how to be healthy for a lifetime and is recognized as the leader in health promotion and childhood obesity prevention programming.
