Duncan Van Dusen, MPH
Duncan Van Dusen is a social entrepreneur who has started and built successful for-profit and non-profit organizations. He is the Founder & CEO of CATCH Global Foundation, whose mission is to connect underserved schools and communities with resources to create and sustain health for future generations. CATCH now serves 11,000 schools and educational sites and reaches over 2.5 million children annually in the US and Latin America with its programs. Duncan was previously Founder & CEO of Tango Health and SVP of Sales & Marketing at Works, a financial software company whose rapid growth led to a strategic acquisition by Bank of America. Duncan has pursued his passion for children’s rights through publishing scientific studies on links between fitness and academic achievement, volunteering with CASA as an advocate for child welfare, and drafting a book (hopefully coming soon) making the case for health education in K-12 schools. Duncan holds an AB from Princeton University and a Masters in Public Health from the University of Texas, and speaks fluent French and mediocre Spanish. Outside of work, Duncan spends time enjoying the great outdoors with his family and experimenting with novel communication strategies to convince his own daughters to stay sun safe, exercise, and eat their vegetables.
