Emily is a Community Health Engagement Specialist for the Marketing and Community Engagement Department at Williamson County and Cities Health District. Additionally, she is actively involved with the Healthy Williamson County Coalition. She serves as a health education resource person to community members through participating in coalition meetings, providing presentations on various health topics, and co-coordinating community health events and conferences. She hopes that through hard work and dedication she can make a difference in her beloved central Texas community.
What made you want to get involved in CATCH My Breath?
“I have always had a passion for tobacco use prevention, especially with youth, but I did not know where to start. The CATCH My Breath program made it easy to partner with local schools and deliver quality and evidence based e-cigarette prevention lessons to students.”
