For those working with students during out-of-school time in a before-school, after-school or summer program. Participants will utilize CATCH Kids Club materials and actively participate in games and activities.
CATCH TRAINING OPTIONS
Implementation Training Attendees (May 30 ONLY)
Attendees will receive training in successfully implementing the CATCH Kids Club program in their schools or organizations utilizing the CATCH materials. The implementation training is great if your organization has one or two additional staff members that need training or you work for a very small program and only need a small number of staff trained.
Train-the-Trainer Academy Attendees
(May 30 – June 1)
In addition to the Implementation Training, 3-day attendees will participate in our “Train the Trainer” offering – designed for staff administering out-of-school time programming. Ideal attendees include supervisors and administrators who will be training after-school and summer program staff.
It is strongly recommended that attendees to the Open Academies have experience conducting implementation trainings for educational programming and project management experience. While not a pre-requisite for attendance, these experiences will greatly increase the probability of successfully directing implementation of the CATCH program.
