Illinois’s Champaign-Urbana Public Health District is taking CATCH to a whole new level: your grocer’s food aisles. According to The News-Gazette: Depending on where you grocery shop, you’ll be seeing signs that read “Go,” “Slow,” or “Whoa,” in the food aisles soon. They’re part of a healthy-eating and physical-activity program the Champaign-Urbana Public Health District is promoting with area schools. What prompted you to be an advocate and champion of children’s health? We are both Physical Education Teachers and former coaches. by Sarah Schulz NEBRASKA -  The focus of the Central Nebraska Council on Alcoholism and Addiction’s grant celebration was on healthy eating and exercise, but the excitement of a 10-year-old boy with a new bike quickly became the center of attention. Donato Medina attended the celebration at the YWCA to mark CNCAA’s reception of a grant from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska. The $9,000 grant will help support the CATCH (Coordinated Approach to Child Health) Kids Club, which promotes physical activity and nutrition education.
