What You Learn

CATCH Training Workshops are fun, dynamic and multi-dimensional workshops designed to provide the knowledge, skills and tools to successfully implement and/or support the CATCH Program. CATCH Training Workshops orient participants to the CATCH Program, blending a variety of interactive techniques that both teach and demonstrate strategies for effective implementation. CATCH training penetrates much deeper than imparting the intricate and specialized knowledge of the program. They are designed to identify specific campus needs, and facilitate practical solutions toward guiding school communities in their efforts to help children be healthy for a lifetime.

We offer a variety of different training workshops tailored to meet your organizational needs including:

CATCH Implementation Training

Designed to get schools started implementing the CATCH Program with the 4 CATCH Components

Component Specific Training

Provides in-depth and specialized information in the component areas. Component specific sessions deliver extensive hands-on training in the use of the CATCH Materials

CATCH After School Training

Overview of  the CATCH Kids Club Physical Activity and Nutrition Program, which blend a variety of interactive techniques that both teach and demonstrate strategies for effective implementation.

Evaluation Training

Instruction in the use of various evaluation tools schools can use to assess program implementation and effectiveness. Measurement tools include surveys, SOFIT observations, and the School Health Index
