CATCH Challenge


While having fun in the sun this summer, be sure you’re staying sun safe! The University of Texas MD Anderson Center created and developed Ray and the Sunbeatables™: A Sun Safety Curriculum for Preschoolers, Kindergarteners and First Grade Students to educate children, parents and teachers about sun protection and promote sun safety behaviors in an effort to reduce children’s lifetime risk of developing skin cancer. Children meet superhero characters, Ray and the Sunbeatables who travel around the world using their superpowers of sun protection – shade, sunscreen, protective clothing, sunglasses, and hats.
