Share A Healthy Lesson

My 4th graders and I taught the 1st grade CATCH lesson about "Everyday Foods" to our first grade buddies. I dressed four of my students in each of the CATCH characters to make the storyline come alive! We put on a readers theater play, watched the first episode when Hearty Heart and his Friends come to earth, taught the lesson with a hands-on activity, and sang an Everyday Foods song my class wrote. Each 1st grader also got their picture taken with the CATCH characters! It was so much fun and everyone had a wonderful time!
